However, these are my steps to ensure your safety
Active Nursing License
I have gone to 4+ years of nursing school that has educated me on the human body and what to do in an emergency. If you are someone who passes out easily or is concerned, having a nurse performed body modifications is a safer choice. Additionally, I am held to a standard of conduct being a licensed professional. I must ensure your safety for the integrity of my liscence, where most artists do NOT have any liscensures.
Blood Borne Pathogens
With being a nurse, I have real life experience keeping a sterile field, knowing extensively about the transmission of blood borne pathogens, and signs of possible infections or reasons you may need to hold off on being tattooed to prevent infection.
Tattoo Apprenticeship and Paramedical Training
I had a 6 month stent as a traditional tattoo apprentice in a traditional shop. I also have a paramedical tattoo certification where I worked along side the #1 paramedical tattooist and educator in the southwest. This education has helped me pair both worlds to create a safe, educated, accepting, and fun enviorment for any type of tattoo.

DermaBabe RN is a queer woman-owned business specializing in skincare and beauty services using paramedical tattooing, which includes: camouflage tattooing, stretch mark and scar repair and removal, all provided in the safety of a registered nurse, Abby (me). My mission is to provide holistic healing for the mind, body, and soul. We are located in Chandler, AZ and offer a wide range of services to address various skin-related needs, including the camouflage and removal of scars, stretch marks, acne scars, sun spots, and more using ink and inkless techniques. Additionally, I also offer tiny tattoos as part of our range of services.
